It covers the entire RV roof from edge to edge, including the seams and the areas around vents, skylights, and air conditioners. When it cures, the roof is one continuous waterproof surface instead of a collection of joints waiting to crack.
That ends the usual resealing cycle. You are not climbing up every season to inspect cracked lap sealant and patch another weak spot. What happens before the coating goes on
We inspect the roof and find out whether the deck is solid. Dirt, loose material, old failed sealant, and damaged areas are handled first. Soft wood does not get hidden under a new coating. It gets repaired. Then we prepare the roof material, detail every penetration and edge, and apply the membrane as a complete system.
Full installations happen at the Camper Care shop in Roscoe. That keeps an open or prepared roof away from wind, dust, rain, and sudden temperature changes. We can often inspect your roof through mobile service before scheduling the shop work.

- Does Crazy Seal work on rubber, fiberglass, and metal roofs?
- Yes. Crazy Seal can be installed over common RV roof materials, including rubber, fiberglass, and metal, after the roof is inspected and prepared for proper adhesion.
- Do I need a full roof tear-off?
- Not always. If the decking is solid, we can usually prepare the existing roof and install the system over it. Rotten wood and trapped moisture have to come out first. Bryan checks the roof and tells you straight before work starts.
- How long does Crazy Seal last?
- Crazy Seal carries a 50-year product warranty from the manufacturer. Proper preparation and installation matter, which is why we take our time with every seam, opening, and roof edge.
- Is Crazy Seal installed by mobile service or at the shop?
- Complete Crazy Seal installations come to our shop in Roscoe. The controlled space lets us clean, repair, prepare, and coat the roof out of South Dakota wind and weather. We can inspect many roofs on site first.
