What you're probably noticing
It usually starts small. A stain on the ceiling panel. A musty smell after a rain. A spot on the roof that feels spongy under your boot. Screws backing out around the vent flange. Caulk that looks like cracked mud.
By the time you see a stain inside, water has been in the roof for a while. It runs sideways along the rafters, soaks the decking, and rots the wood where you can't see it. Patching over the top with more sealant hides it for one more season and costs you the whole roof the season after that.
What Camper Care does about it
We start by finding out how far the water got. We check every seam, vent, skylight, antenna, and A/C opening, and we press the whole deck for soft spots. Then we tell you straight: a repair, or a rebuild.
On a rebuild we strip the old membrane and pull the rotted decking out. We replace bad rafters and framing, lay new decking, and rebuild around every roof opening so the flanges sit flat on solid wood. New membrane or coating goes on top, every penetration gets re-flashed and sealed, and the trim gets set with fresh butyl instead of a bead of goo over old cracked caulk.
Big roof work comes into the shop in Roscoe, out of the wind and weather. Inspections, small seam work, and resealing we can do at your campsite, storage lot, or driveway.
Why this roof will be better than factory
Factory roofs are built fast on a line, with the thinnest decking that passes and a bead of sealant doing work that framing should do. Bryan is a self-admitted perfectionist. He grew up on a South Dakota farm fixing whatever broke, and he doesn't leave a roof he wouldn't park his own camper under.
You get solid wood, proper backing at every opening, and sealant used where it belongs instead of as a bandage. That's the whole promise: better than factory.

Crazy Seal is the system we finish roofs with. It goes on as one seamless membrane over the entire roof - across seams, around every vent and skylight, and out to the trim - so there's no joint left for water to work into.
The coating is only as good as the prep, which is where most roof jobs fail. We clean the deck, address every soft spot and penetration, re-flash where it's needed, then coat. What you get is a roof you can walk without wondering, and springs where you're not chasing a stain across the ceiling.

- How do I know if I need a full rebuild or just a reseal?
- Soft decking means rebuild. If the wood is still solid and the trouble is cracked sealant and tired membrane, a proper reseal or a Crazy Seal coating will do. We check before we quote, and we tell you which one you're looking at.
- Can you do roof work at my campsite?
- We reseal, re-flash, and inspect on site. Full tear-offs come into the shop in Roscoe so the open roof never sits out in weather.
- What is Crazy Seal?
- Crazy Seal is a liquid roof coating system that goes on as one seamless membrane over the whole roof, including around the vents and seams where leaks start. It's the system we stand behind on finished roofs.
- Will insurance cover my roof?
- Storm and hail damage often is covered; slow leaks and age usually aren't. We document what we find with photos so you have something real to hand your adjuster.
- How long does a rebuild take?
- It depends on how far the water traveled. We give you a timeline after we open it up, and we call you if we find more than we quoted instead of surprising you at pickup.
