Short answer: most repairs - furnaces, fridges, AC, electrical, plumbing, brakes, winterizing - we can do right where your camper sits. Big structural work - roof rebuilds, slide-out floors, major body work - comes into our shop in Roscoe. Camper Care does both, so you don't have to guess wrong.
That matters more out here than most places. If you're in Eureka or Gettysburg, the nearest dealership service department might be hours away - with a weeks-long waitlist when you get there.
What mobile service handles
If it's a system inside or on your camper, odds are good we can fix it in your driveway, storage lot, or campsite:
- Furnace and AC repair - diagnosis and most fixes on-site
- Refrigerators - most absorption fridge problems short of a cooling unit swap
- Electrical - 12V troubleshooting, shore power problems, lights, batteries
- Plumbing - pumps, water heaters, faucets, line repairs (inside the RV - we don't do underbelly plumbing)
- Brakes and running gear - trailer brake service where the rig is stored
- Winterizing and de-winterizing - the classic mobile call
- Small sealing and leak chasing - catching problems before they become shop problems
Mobile also means your rig doesn't have to move. No hitching up a camper with questionable brakes, no dragging a 35-footer to town over a furnace igniter.
What comes to the shop
Some jobs need a level rig, controlled conditions, and days of working time:
- Complete roof rebuilds - tear-off, decking, and Crazy Seal installation need dry, controlled conditions to cure right
- Slide-out and slide-out floor rebuilds - the slide often has to come apart or come off
- Major body work - panels, storm damage, structural repair
If a mobile visit uncovers a shop-sized problem, you'll hear it straight, with photos of what we found and a plan.
